This one-day course covers the basics with topics such as understanding different types and scales of map, interpreting map features, taking and following compass bearings, understanding contour lines, grid references and route choice, all while on the move!
If you have little or no experience or need a refresher with map and compass this is the course for you.
NB The emphasis on this course is on learning the skills rather than running fast so don’t worry about not being able to keep up.
